Five Themes of Geography: Movement — Follow the Journey

Five Themes of Geography: Movement — Follow the Journey

Bring the entire Movement theme together with a culminating investigation that challenges students to trace one complete journey of people, products, or ideas across multiple real-world locations.

In this no-prep geography project, students follow a journey from its starting point to at least two additional locations while examining the push and pull factors, transportation methods, technologies, and geographic connections that made the movement possible. Students then analyze how that movement changed the places involved and connect their findings to concepts studied throughout the unit.
