Becoming a Thoughtful Christian | Wesleyan Quadrilateral Bible Lesson
Becoming a Thoughtful Christian | Wesleyan Quadrilateral Bible Lesson | Design Your Own Quadrilateral Model | Grades 6–12
Bring your Understanding the Wesleyan Quadrilateral unit to a meaningful conclusion with this engaging, project-based lesson that challenges students to synthesize everything they have learned. Rather than simply studying Scripture, Tradition, Reason, and Experience, students become Christian educators tasked with creating an entirely new visual model that teaches how the four sources work together in faithful decision-making.
Working as designers for a Christian education publisher, students evaluate existing models, develop an original concept, and build a visual representation that communicates the relationships between the four sources more effectively than the traditional quadrilateral. Whether they choose a tree, compass, bridge, machine, journey, or an entirely original design, students must explain and defend how their model helps Christians think wisely and faithfully.
