Crossing the Red Sea
Bible Study + Project (STEM Water Crossing Challenge)

Bring one of the Bible's most dramatic rescue stories to life through an engaging combination of Bible study, engineering design, and hands-on STEM learning. In this project-based lesson, students will investigate the miraculous crossing of the Red Sea in Exodus 14 before applying modern engineering principles to design and test their own STEM Water Crossing Challenge.

Designed for Grades 6–8, this lesson encourages students to connect Scripture with real-world problem solving while developing creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking skills.

Part of the No Prep Plans: Old Testament Series, a growing collection of project-based Bible studies designed to help middle school students engage deeply with Scripture through research, creativity, collaboration, and thoughtful personal application.
